On the morning of October 14th, the 4th Ningbo Oil Painting Exhibition was held in Ningbo Museum of Art.The exhibition, featuring 121 works, will run until November 6.
This exhibition is an overall appearance of Ningbo oil painters after the 3rd Ningbo Oil Painting Exhibition in 2018. According to the staff of the exhibition, compared with previous exhibitions, the proportion of artworks from young painters is higher, and some of the authors have just graduated from art schools.
"Young painters have different perspectives. They are good at expressing their understanding of the present life and the new era with brushes," said Wu Guobao, vice chairman of Ningbo Artists Association.
"Ningbo's ports, fishing villages, ancient towns, celadon, etc. provide artists with an inexhaustible source of creation; Ningbo oil painters, with keen insight and judgment, capture rich materials and use various forms of artistic language to express their appreciations," said Luo Yangbo, the representative of the artist.
